Friends Of B-G

The Friends of the Burke-Gilman Trail at Sand Point (FBGT @ SP) organization was set up early in 2007.  FBGT at SP originally had members who were either neighbors very close to the trail or neighbors with special skills in native plant renewal projects.  It's members are now mostly forest stewards.

Forest Stewards

Green Seattle Forest Stewards lead restoration and educate others about the challenges facing our forests.  The desire is to encourage a diverse group of volunteers to take the lead in their own communities and ultimately to galvanize an informed, involved, and active community of forest stewardship across the entire city!
